Job Description
We seek an experienced Senior Medical Coder to ensure precise ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, perform clinical documentation reviews, support coding audits, and mentor junior coders. This role partners with billing, compliance, and clinical teams to maintain regulatory compliance, optimize reimbursement, and uphold coding integrity.
- Minimum 5 years of professional coding experience
- RHIA/RHIT or CCS/CCA certification preferred
- Thorough knowledge of inpatient and outpatient coding guidelines
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Experience with EHR systems and coding audit tools is a plus
